Calling All "How About-ers"
When it comes to the ones around me, I try and rub off on them as much as possible in order to coerce them into being my partners in crime. You cannot have a life fulfilled if you are constantly finding that you are the only one in your social circle. Surrounding yourself with people that encourage and support you is one way to achieve the goals you set for yourself, but surrounding yourself with people that you can influence and be influenced by is a whole other ball game. People that you can creatively spark excitement in and brainstorm with for tremendous ideas that arouse a sense of genius in you are the people you want to encircle yourself with. They are hard to come by. I want to befriend the creative type that is constantly bubbling with ideas, notions, "what if's" and the ever-so-popular favorite of mine, the "how about-ers." I love the attitude of the "how about-ers" because they are people of action. The "what if-ers" are more conversationalists that talk of things they think of. They are known for their regular forums of discussion revolving around things they come up with to argue, debate, and expand on. The "how about-ers" are the adventurous ones who make a difference by experimentation, trail and error, and carrying out events. They are similar to but not the same as the "suppose we-ers" They are more of the group that talk about the actions, but never actually implement them. On occasion you may find an adventurous "suppose we'er" that put a plan into action, but they are few and far between. So I am putting out a request for all of the people of action, the people that say what they think and do what they feel to come and inspire me and encourage me and be adventurous with me. I am enriching my current circle of friends and inviting more to join. I'm in a new city with new possibilities and can't wait to test the waters and make new memories.

Life and Living
Life and Living
"Live for passion, fulfillment, and desire; and the passion to fulfill your desires."
That would be great if I actually took my own advice. I came up with that quote on the spur of the moment while toasting a mango margarita in St Louis and rather liked how insightfully it rolled off my tongue. If we are here to live lives full of passion, vigor, and excitement, then how come we never get up and actually live it?! We spend our lives wishing and hoping and longing for things. We dream of going to Italy, of skydiving, of falling in love, of writing a novel, and of becoming famous. But how many of us actually follow our dreams? I like to think that I am on the right track to achieving my goals in life. I never said I was on a fast track by any means, but I do believe I am headed in the right direction. I throw caution to the wind, I try to take a least one risk a day – whether it be life changing or not is up to your own digression. I change where I live and what I do like some people change their underwear; but that is because I cannot be held down in the mundane, day-to-day routine that life can sometimes hand us. I prefer the zest of variety and the butterflies in your stomach kind of trepidation of not knowing what is in store for me from day-to-day. I try never to make a decision I will regret, and I try not to pass up something that I will eventually wish I had gone thru with. Although I am never quite as dare-devilish and I wish to be, I do put forth a valiant effort.

What This Girl Wants
What This Girl Wants
I want to be swept off my feet
I want to be sung to
I want to be kissed in the rain
I want to be paraded around town because you are so happy to be with me you actually think it makes people jealous to see us together
I want to be surprised to find sweet little notes with our special inside jokes scribbled on them.
I want to have a secret game all our own that others don't understand but envy just the same
I want to be secure knowing that you only have eyes for me
I want to dance under the stars and run through the grass barefoot
I want to tip toe through the sand and twirl around with the waves of the ocean
I want to be held from behind
I want to be whispered to
I want to be caressed
I want to be lead to a candle-lit bubble bath
I want to be cuddled
I want to be kissed on the nose and forehead
I want to be giddy when I see you the first time that day
I want to be dreamed of
I want to be pined for
I want to be lusted after, and longed for
I want to be the first one you talk to when you wake up
I want to be the last one you talk to before you go to sleep
I want to be the one you laugh with
I want to be the one you cry with
I want to be the one you come home to
I want to be the one you brag about
I want to be content with staying in on a Saturday night just being with you
I want you to be happy just knowing that I am yours
I want you to smile every time I come into your thoughts
I want to be protected
I want to be cherished
I want to be at the top of your list
I want to be your favorite
I want to be your serenity
I want to go on long walks with you
I want to hold your hand
I want to share my world with you
I want to make my world with you
I want to be the best thing that ever happened to you
I want to be your ultimate
I want to make memories together
I want to understand you
I want to be understood
I want to know the feel of your touch
I want to know your biggest fear
I want to be able to make you laugh at any time
I want to be cared for
I want to be nurtured
I want to care for you
I want to nurture you
I want you to know all of my secrets and love me in spite of them
I want to be your confidant
I want to be your best friend
I want to know how you are feeling when you are feeling that way
I want to be able to read your eyes
I want you to be able to read mine
I want to love you
I want to be loved.

Sugar-Free Romance
Sugar-Free Romance
I can't believe its true, but it is. I have been a victim of a sugar-free romantic life. I claim to be a "hopeless romantic" when in fact must be the absolute truth because I can't really say that I have experienced anything close to what you would call real romance. Therefore I am hopelessly awaiting those times in my life that can be deemed "romantic." I have had romantic dinners; ONE that I can recall. I have been written romantic love letters; when I was in the 11th grade. I have been sent a bouquet of flowers with a romantic card a grand total of 4 times in my almost 10 years of dating, (and never twice by the same person). I have made love that was beautiful, sensual, emotional, and romantic; but the post-coitus ambiance was not what you would call "romantic." I have been given lavish gifts, meaningful sentiments, and sparkling diamonds; but I fail to see how the gift is supposed to be romantic if the thoughts behind it are not. I feel cheated. I would have to say that I am in fact a true, real-life, hopeless romantic.
